Privacy Act 1988

PlanningPlus Software maintains a policy of strict confidence concerning your personal information. Our privacy policy has been developed in accordance with the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 (the “Privacy Act”).

Collecting Personal Information

All information collected is for the purpose of providing coaching, training and services to you. Generally, we will obtain personal information directly from you.

This will include contact details. If we obtain information about you without your knowledge and the law requires your express consent to obtain it, then you will be contacted by us.

We may also collect information from you if you subscribe to any of our regular newsletters.

Web-Site and Cookies

For statistical purposes, the server collects and stores the following information about visitors to the PlanningPlus Software website:

·         IP address and browser type 

·         Date and time our site was accessed

·         The internet address of the website that linked you to the site

This information is used to track the number of visitors to various areas of the site.  It does not identify individuals.

If you provide us with your email address it is solely used to provide services you request and not provided to third parties. 

Use and Disclosure of Information

The personal information we obtain helps provide an efficient services to you.

Confidentiality will be maintained in most cases however from time to time we may be required to disclose information to third persons and the following are examples of the circumstances in which we might be required to make such a disclosure:

·         if your files are subpoenaed in accordance with the order of a court of law;

·         when it is judged that to not disclose information to other’s may result in clear danger to you or your family or  to others;

·         when reporting of information is required by law.  Please note that under the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998, it is mandatory to report suspicions of child abuse and/or neglect to the relevant child protection agency.

Access

If access to the information we may have concerning you is required, you may request to see what it is and if it is up to date. This will be subject to any exemptions allowed under the Privacy Act.

If we refuse to allow access to your personal information, you will be informed and given details of what exemptions under the Privacy Act prevent its acquisition.

Please note, a request for access will most probably incur a reasonable fee in providing such a service.
